SSC CPO 2020-2021 Recruitment Process

  • Based on the performance of the candidates in Paper-I, candidates will be called for PET/PST examination. The Commission reserves the right to fix the minimum qualifying marks in each part of Paper-I separately, taking into account the category-wise number of vacancies and category-wise number of candidates.
  • Only those candidates who qualify in the PET/PST exam will be allowed to appear in the Paper-II exam. PET / Ex-servicemen also have to undergo PET.
  • On the basis of their performance in Paper-I + Paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in Medical Examination. Candidates, who are successful in the medical examination, will be called for detailed document verification.
  • All the selected candidates need to appear for the document verification. Those failing to do so will not be considered for final selection. Candidates are required to submit all the documents in original for verification at the time of document verification.
  • The final selection will be made on the basis of aggregate marks scored by the candidates in Paper-I + Paper-II. The allotment of candidates to different user departments/forces will be done on the basis of their merit position and preference of the posts exercised by them at the time of document verification.
