UPCATET 2021 Qualification
While filling the application form for UPCATET entrance exam, students have to check the eligibility criteria correctly and then apply only. If the student will not be able to fill the criteria sought in the application form then the application form will not be accepted. Students can check the eligibility details given below.
For B.Sc course
- B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture / B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture / B.Sc (Hons) Forestry / Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BF Sc ): Candidates should have passed Agriculture Science / Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) / Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) ) / Passed 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology (PCMB) subjects.
- BVSc & AH: Candidates must have passed 10+2 as a subject in PCB/PCMB stream with minimum 50% marks. SC/ST candidates must have secured 47.5% marks in the qualifying examination.
- B.Sc (Hons) Home Science: Candidate must have passed 10+2 in Arts stream with Home Science/ PCB/ PCM/ PCMB/ Agriculture Science as one of the subjects.
for MSc course
- MSc Agricultural Biochemistry / MSc Agricultural Economics / Agricultural Economics and Management / Agricultural Science / Animal Husbandry / Dairy Technology / Livestock Production and Management / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Soil Science / Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry : B.Sc Agriculture / B.Sc (Hons. Must have passed 10+2+4 year pattern.
- MSc Home Science: Should have passed BSc (HSC) / BSc (Hons) Home Science in the pattern of 10+2+4 years. However, candidates having three years degree are not eligible to apply.
- MSc Agriculture Biotechnology: Candidates should have passed 10+2+4 in B.Sc Agriculture/ B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture/ B.Sc Horticulture/ B.Tech Biotechnology.
- MSc Agriculture Extension / Extension Education: Candidates should have passed B.Sc Agriculture / B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture / B.Sc Horticulture / B.Sc Forestry / BFSc under 10+2+4 year pattern.
- MSc Agriculture Meteorology / Horticulture / Ophthalmology : Must have acquired B.Sc Agriculture / B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture / B.Sc. Horticulture in the pattern of 10+2+4 years.
- MSc Agriculture Statistics: Candidates should have passed B.Sc Agriculture / B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture / B.Sc Horticulture in 10+2+4 year pattern. Also, he/she must have passed class 12th with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- Water Management: Candidates should have passed B.Sc Agriculture/ B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture/ B.Sc Horticulture/ B.Sc Forestry in 10+2+4 year pattern.
- MVSc: Candidates should have passed BVSc and AH with CGPA 5.50 (5.00 for SC/ST). Also, candidates must be registered with VCI, New Delhi or State Veterinary Council.
Age Range
- For BVS & AH: Applicant age should be between 17 years to 25 years.
- For UG courses: Candidates age should be 16 to 22 years.
- Candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST will be given a relaxation of 5 years.
UPCATET 2021 Application Form
UPCATET Application Form 2021 has been released on the official website in online medium. Students can fill the UPCATET Application Form 2021 by visiting the official website . Apart from this, one could fill the UPCATET online form till 15 April 2021 from the link given on our page, which has been extended till 30 April 2021 due to the increasing infection of Kovid-19. UPCATET Application Form 2021While filling, students will have to check the eligibility criteria sought in the application form correctly, only after that they will have to apply. If the student will not be able to fill the eligibility criteria sought in the application form, then the application form will not be accepted under any circumstances. At the time of filling the application form, students are required to have Aadhar Card, Email ID and Mobile Number. Students will receive the OTP number after fulfilling the criteria eligibility sought in the application form. The registered number must be kept by the students. At the time of filling the application form, students also have to pay the application fee. If the student does not pay the application fee then the application form will not be accepted under any circumstances.

UPCATET 2021 Admit Card
UPCATET Admit Card 2021 has been released a few days before the entrance exam through online mode on the official website. Studentscan download the UPCATET Admit Card by visiting the official website. Apart from this, students can also download their admit card from the link given above on our page. Admit card will be received by only those students whose application form has been accepted. Students have to download the UPCATET Admit Card themselves , no hard copy will be sent by the university. UPCATET Admit Card It is necessary for all the students to appear in the written exam. Students who do not have the admit card will not be eligible to appear in the written examination. To download the admit card, details like registration number, DOB, course name have to be entered. The written exam for UPCATET 2021 will be held on 12th, 13th August 2021.
UPCATET 2021 Exam Pattern
UG and Diploma
Written exam will be conducted for UPCATET 2021 , the exam for admission to UG and Diploma courses will be conducted in May. The exam will be of 600 marks in which 200 objective type questions will be asked. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
PG course
Written exam will be conducted for PG courses, written exam for PG courses will be held on May. The exam will be of 600 marks in which 200 objective type questions will be asked. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
PhD course
For Ph.D course written exam will be conducted, for Ph.D. written exam will be held on May. The exam will be of total 300 marks in which 100 objective type questions will be asked. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
Guidelines for filling OMR sheet
- Candidates should use black ball point pen to mark their answers in the OMR sheet.
- Candidates don’t forget to submit their OMR sheet after the exam.
- Candidates willing to take the entrance test should darken the circle in the OMR sheet in a proper manner.
- Finally, the candidates should fill the OMR sheet carefully after reading all the instructions.
Marking Scheme: Three marks will be awarded for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
The candidates who have selected any one of the four Group of Papers as per their educational qualification and course while applying. The question paper will be made available to the candidates who have selected the group of paper while applying.

UPCATET 2021 Result
UPCATET Result will be released on the official website after the completion of the entrance exam through online mode. Students will be able to check and download their result by visiting the official website. The date of release of UPCATET Result 202 1 is not yet declared. After the release of online result, students will also be able to get their result from the link given on our page. To get the result, students have to enter the registration number, roll number and course name. All those students who will pass in the written examination will be called for the counseling process. During the counseling process, students will have to carry the necessary documents with them, which will be verified. Only qualified students will be called in the counseling process.
UPCATET 2021 Qualifying Marks
Candidates must obtain qualifying marks to clear the entrance test.
- For General and OBC category candidates, they have to secure 20% marks.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST must have 10% marks to qualify the exam.
- The selection of candidates who want to take admission in MBA (Agri-Business) will be based on entrance test along with GD and PI. After that the comprehensive merit list will be released.
UPCATET 2021 Counseling
After the release of UPCATET Merit List 2021 , students will be called for the counseling process. During the counseling process only those students will be called whose name will be included in the merit list. Students appearing in the UPCATET Counseling process will have to register themselves by visiting the official website. If the student does not register for the counseling process, then he/she will not be able to attend the counselling. Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Exam
Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test is a state level entrance exam. It is administered by Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya (NDUAT), Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur (CSAUAT), Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut (SVPAT) and Banda Agricultural University. Technology, Banda (BUAT) on a rotational basis. The entrance test is mandatory to get admission in all the programs offered by the universities. Last year the exam was conducted by NDUAT. It is a separate written test for each program.
